Prime Minister chairs Prime Minister Delivery Unit meeting

Islamabad, May 19, 2015 (PPI-OT): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif chaired a meeting of Prime Minister Delivery Unit (PMDU) at the PM House here this afternoon. Talking to the PMDU officials the Prime Minister said government is ensuring transparency and merit in every domain, emphasizing that proper functioning of this Unit is of utmost importance for the entire nation.

He directed the PMDU members to work with dedication and honesty in an efficient manner. PMDU must focus on achieving targets, especially those relating to energy sector, within given timeframe to bring prosperity to the people, he said. The Prime Minister would personally supervise the working of PMDU to monitor progress on projects of key importance.

Federal Minister for Planning, Mr. Ahsan Iqbal; Federal Minister for Water and Power, Khawaja Mohammad Asif; Federal Minister for Petroleum, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and SAPM, Mr. Tariq Fatemi attended the meeting along with other senior government officials.
