President Dr. Arif Alvi has approved awarding of Quaid-i-Azam and President Police Medals to 270 police personnel.

Out of these 270 awards, 125 police personnel will be given Quaid-i-Azam medal while 145 will be given President Medals.

The awards are given to police personnel in recognition of their gallantry and distinguished services.

The approval has been accorded for the years 2014-15 and 2017-2022 with the advice of the Prime Minister under article 259 of Constitution of Pakistan.
