Polish company plans to extract around 100 million cubic meters gas from southern Pakistan deposits

Warsaw: Poland natural gas and oil monopoly PGNiG is planning to extract around 100 million cubic meters gas from deposits in southern Pakistan, Joanna Zakrzewska, a spokeswoman for PGNiG said on Thursday.

PGNiG revised upward its forecasts for oil and gas extraction in 2013 after it invested funds in natural gas abroad. The corporation says it will extract a total of 4.9 billion cubic meters of natural gas, or 200 million cubic meters more than it originally planned.
