Pakistani businessmen visit Ukraine, hope increase in bilateral trade

KARACHI: Pakistan and Ukraine businessmen expressed hope the trade value between the two countries would cross current level of $68 million in the next two years.

Pakistani businessmen expressed their satisfaction after the successful conclusion of their three-day visit to Kiev, Ukraine and hoped this visit would go a long way in enhancing Pakistan’s exports to Ukraine.

They are interested in textiles, food and its products, engineering goods, minerals and metals, carpets, furniture, herbal medicine, sports goods, services and general trading.

They said the outcome of the meetings with European Business Association and B2B meetings with Ukrainian entrepreneurs would also attract Ukrainian investment in various sectors of Pakistan.

Trade Development of Pakistan (TDAP) Chief Executive Tariq Puri led a trade delegation and showed his confidence that Pakistani and Ukrainian business community would forge a long lasting business relationship.
