Pakistan U-14 Football Team wins Fair Play Award and Gold Medals at Tajikistan

Lahore, May 26, 2015 (PPI-OT): AFC U-14 Regional Festival of Football 20-26 May 2015, Dushanbe, Tajikistan

Participating Teams: Afghanistan, India, Iran, Pakistan, Nepal, Tajikistan, Sri Lanka

Pakistan Young Squad has won the only “FAIR PLAY” award and gold medals at the event. This is the only award given awarded on the basis of Attacking Game, Fair Play, Minimum Yellow Cards and most disciplined team. Pakistan team has won this award First time in country’s history. There is no 1st and 2nd or winning loosing concept in the Festival.

At this historical moment congratulating the players and officials of Pakistan team, Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat has said that there is no dearth of young talent in Pakistan. “There is no dearth of young football playing talent in Pakistan and we, the PFF, are focused to further develop these young Players who are our future stars.”

Talking from Dushanbe, Tajikistan, Head Coach and Manager of Pakistan U-14 National Team Muhammad Habib has said that Pakistani Youth displayed impressive football which was praised by everyone watching their game.
