Pakistan trade delegation visits Sri Lanka

Colombo: Pakistan trade delegation of fruit, vegetable producers and exporters is visiting Sri Lanka to explore ways and means to enhance bilateral trade between the two countries.

The delegation members led by Faqir Nusrat Hussain specialize in production, export of various fruits, vegetables including guava, chikoosepatila, mango, citrus, berry, potato, dry fruits, gur, tobacco, fresh and dry dates etc.

Eager to reap maximum benefits from Free Trade Agreement FTA between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, they will also explore opportunities in tea, visit Kandy to meet Chamber of Commerce, Tea Research Board members, hold meetings with fruit and dry fruit importers, other stakeholders.
