Pakistan to cut duty on palm oil imports from Indonesia by 15%: Mahmood

Jakarta: Pakistan agreed to reduce by 15 percent the duty it places on palm oil imported from Indonesia as part of a trade agreement between the two countries, visiting Pakistan Commerce Secretary Zafar Mahmood said, Bloomberg reported.

Duties imposed on imports of palm oil products range between Rs 9,500 ($109) and Rs 10,800 per metric ton, Mahmood said after signing the agreement, which is to take effect in early 2012.
