Warsaw: Visiting Chairman of Pakistan’s Upper House Senate Farooq Naek invited Polish business houses in Krakow, to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan.
He encouraged Polish companies to set up an exclusive Polish economic zone in Pakistan, expand business, trade ties between two countries. On last leg of his visit to Poland, he met Governor of Krakow, Stanislaw Kracik and discussed enhancing economic, cultural, educational linkages. Kracik evinced interest in Pakistan’s investment friendly regime and expressed deep appreciation for its leadership and society for dedicated struggle against terrorism.
Naek also met Deputy Governor of Krakow, Adrzej Haiezlak and briefed on current situation in South Asia and leading role being played by Pakistan in fight against terrorism. The government and people of Pakistan are committed to eliminate terrorism to make the world a safer place.
He said sacrifices in men and material made by Pakistan surpassed combined losses incurred by ISAF during last ten years in Afghanistan. “Pakistan is waging this war for its own security and for entire humanity.”
He also met Leopold Sulkowski CEO of Geofizyka Krakow, a geophysical, geological surveying company working in Pakistani since 1998. Naek invited Geofizyka Oil & Gas Exploration Company to expand its scope of work in Pakistan.
