Pakistan, France set up Joint Business Council to promote trade

Paris –– Pakistan and France on Wednesday set up a Joint Business Council to promote trade level on win-win basis.

A MoU was signed here between Pakistan Business Council PBC & MEDEF – Mouvement des Entreprises de France (Movement of French Enterprises), largest union of French employers. Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani witnessed MoU signing by Chairman PBC head Kamran Mirza & Jean Burelle, President MEDEF.

Gilani said it was of “immense significance” for both countries and would create mutual understanding and cooperation. He felt it was time to benefit from trade potential between two countries in trade and commerce. He called for pursuing strong partnership in interest of both countries and said involvement of corporate sector was important to strengthen bilateral ties.
