Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants Association hails Government decision to remove hurdles imposed through different Standing Revenue Orders

Karachi, September 26, 2013 (PPI-OT): Salim Valimohammad Chairman, Zubair Riaz Vice, Chairman and Executive Committee members of Pakistan Chemicals and Dyes Merchants Association (PCDMA) in their meeting have highly appreciated the Government decision to remove the hurdles imposed through different SROs and endorsed Ministry of Finance decisions to approve the reduction in withholding sales tax rate on purchases from unregistered persons from 17 to 1 percent excluding items chargeable to sales tax on retail prices and commercial importers from sales tax withholding regime.

Other decisions added withdrawal of condition of seeking computerized national identify card numbers (CNICs) (NTNs), National Tax Numbers (NTNs) and addresses of un-registered retailers.

Salim Valimohammad further, requested to FBR to immediately notify the changes approved by the finance Ministry.
