Pakistan can help Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce & Industry to enhance cooperation among member states


Karachi: Vice President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) Dawood Usman Jhakura who was nominated as Chairman of Asian Textile & Garments Council (ATGC) of Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce & Industry (CACCI) says Pakistan being an important producers of textiles, garments in the region is in position to help CACCI in its efforts to develop, promote cooperation among businessmen of CACCI member states.

Jhakura said ATGC is one of Product & Service Councils (PSC) formed under CACCI umbrella to promote greater business interaction among CACCI members who are in same products or service line. He said PSC will address issues affecting respective sectors finding solutions to common problems and work out specific programs to accelerate regional cooperation, particularly in trade, investment, technology transfer, capital flow, information exchange, exploring opportunities for business cooperation, joint ventures, initiating and completing business deals.
