Pak, Argentina to further enhance trade relation

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Argentina, Rodolfo J Martin Saravia on Friday said tremendous economic, commercial and political activities between Argentina and Pakistan have to be taken place for enhancing bilateral trade relation.

The ambassador made these remarks, while talking to President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yassar Sakhi Butt during his visit to ICCI. Both the leaders exchanged views on common interests and agreed to strengthen economic relations between the two countries. Eduardo Bustamante, Commercial Counsellor of Argentina also accompanied was also present on the occasion.

Rodolfo J Martin Saravia said Argentina was a leading country in the use of compressed natural gas (CNG) and Pakistan was already importing CNG equipment from Argentina, adding that agriculture, alternative energy, pharmaceutical and CNG buses for passengers could serve as key sectors for starting joint venture.

In his welcome address, Yassar Sakhi Butt, President ICCI said that Pakistan is a very promising economy and an attractive investment destination as all sectors of the economy were open for investment with attractive incentives.
