Over 25 countries to participate in POGEE 2011

Karachi –– The 9th International Exhibition for the Energy Industry – POGEE 2011 is scheduled from 17th to 19th May 2011 at Karachi Expo Centre. The exhibition is all set to display state-of-the-art equipment and machinery related to Oil, Gas and Energy sectors.

This year around 150 companies from 25 countries are expected to participate in the show including China, Germany, Iran, India, Italy, Pakistan, Qatar, Singapore, Turkey, U.A.E., and U.S.A. Moreover, the show will feature exclusive pavilions for China and Germany and will also have special pavilion for Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources in which various companies will market their technological advancements to the high profile trade visitors.

The exhibition will provide the participants and decision makers a highly focused B2B environment where they will get an opportunity to meet their counterparts from around the world. The show is also extensively supported by Alternative Energy Development Board (AEDB).

The 7th International Conference for Oil, Gas & Energy Industry will be held in concurrence with the exhibition, under the theme “Energy Solutions: Local & Regional Prospects for Pakistan”. The eminent speakers from Australia, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and U.A.E. will share their valuable insights while providing an opportunity to the audience for positive interaction and know how about the diversified technological advancements. The conference will also feature exclusive sessions by Alternative Energy Development Board and Inter State Gas Systems.

Another added feature to the exhibition is the co-located 7th International Fire and Security Exhibition – Fire and Security Pakistan 2011. This year more than 80 companies are expected to participate in the event representing Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Spain, Taiwan, The Netherlands, U.A.E., U.K. and U.S.A.

Together, the co-located exhibitions and the conference will present a complete event for the participants to have a comprehensive insight of the oil, gas, energy and fire & security sectors.
