Mufti caved in to New Delhi on all accounts

Srinagar, May 06, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the forum patronized by the veteran Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, has said that the puppet Chief Minister, Mufti Muhammad Sayeed, has surrendered before the Indian rulers on every issue and is working totally as a puppet in the territory.

The spokesman for the forum, Ayaz Akbar, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the house arrest of Syed Ali Gilani was against all democratic norms and moral values and was an act of state terrorism and hooliganism. This, he added, is the accepted defeat of Mufti Sayeed and by arresting the veteran leader the puppet chief minister has actually proven that no pro-India politician including him can face Syed Ali Gilani on political front.

The APHC Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, civil society activist, Shakeel Qalandar and Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation President, Mohammad Sadiq Baqal in their interviews in Srinagar said that they would welcome Kashmiri Pandits to their homes, but would not allow separate settlements for them.

The Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League at a party meeting in Srinagar, today, expressed concern over continued illegal detention of senior Hurriyet leader, Masarrat Aalam Butt and termed it as the worst type of Indian state terrorism.

At least 27 houses were gutted and two persons were injured in two separate incidents of blaze in Baramulla and Islamabad towns. 46 families lost their shelter in the blaze. Body of a Kashmiri trader, Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday was discovered under mysterious circumstances at Ahmadabad in Indian state of Gujrat.
