Mobilink invested $393mln in Pakistan over last two years

Lahore: Mobilink, Pakistan’s leading cellular and Blackberry service provider with over 34 million subscribers invested $393 million in the country over the last two years, its President & CEO Rashid Khan said Wednesday.

Talking to media, he said, “In 2012, we will capitalize on infrastructure investment, increased coverage and great customer relationship management, to provide customers with best cellular experience in Pakistan. Mobilink invested $393 million over last two years resulting in enhancement of footprint, its voice & data network and induction of cutting edge technology, which brought its uninterrupted connectivity to 20,000 cities, towns and villages nationwide.”

He said year 2012 promises to be another landmark year, following implementation of Mobilink state-of-art intelligent network IN, which will enable subscribers more control, freedom over their services.
