Minister Social Welfare suspends four ghost employees

Karachi, December 14, 2016 (PPI-OT):Provincial Minister for Social Welfare Shamim Mumtaz on Wednesday suspended four ghost employees and directed two women social welfare officers to report to headquarters. Provincial minister paid surprise visits of social welfare offices Keamari, Garden and rehabilitation centre multi handicapped children Lyari.

On the arrival at Keamari social welfare office, provincial minister witnessed that office was locked and no one was available. On the occasion ,She ordered two women social welfare officers Shumaila Khan and Sanam Shahzadi of Keamari town to report to headquarter and suspended junior clerk Muhammad Adnan and auxiliary worker Muhammad Masood ul Zafar who were absent since long.

She later paid surprise visit of Garden social welfare office and suspended Muhammad Bakhsh Abro senior clerk who was reported to be absent from his duty for long period. Provincial minister for social welfare also visited Rehabilitation centre for multi handicapped children Lyari where she ordered the suspension of senior clerk for not turning to his duty for last many months.

Provincial minister social welfare Shamim Mumtaz said that Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah had issued strict directives to ensure the attendance of officers and staff at the office throughout province so that people could be facilitated. She warned officials to refrain from negligence otherwise strict disciplinary action will be initiated against defaulters. She advised them to stick to office timings as per schedules.
