Meezan Bank awarded Islamic Bank of the Year by CFA Association of Pakistan

Karachi: Meezan Bank was awarded Islamic Bank of the Year for 2010 by CFA Association of Pakistan (CFAAP) at its 8th annual Excellence Awards to recognize excellence in commercial banking industry. CFAAP is non-profit professional organization of local investment professionals, and member society of CFA Institute, USA.

Meezan Bank which won this award for second consecutive year operates with largest Islamic Banking branch network in Pakistan with 226 branches in 63 cities. The year 2010 was highly successful and Meezan Bank recorded 61% growth in its post-tax profit and deposits grew by 31% to Rs. 131 billion. It offers complete range of Islamic banking products, services, free online banking for all Pak Rupee accounts at all its branches.
