Malkani alongwith Lyari MPA’s distributes 48 compensation cheques among jhat pat market blast victims

Karachi, September 22, 2016 (PPI-OT): Sindh Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Muhammad Ali Malkani alongwith Lyari MPA’s Javaid Nagori and Sania Naz distributed 48 compensation cheques among victims Jhat Pat Market Lyari balst at Commissioner Office Karachi here.

Chairman DMC South Malik Fayyaz, PPP Leaders Haji Qasim Baloch, Khalil Hot, Khaliq Jan, Aslam Baloch, Iqbal Baloch, Naveed Bizijo, besides Commissioner Karachi Aijaz Ali Khan, DC South Saleem Rajput and relatives of victims and injured person were also present.

It may be mentioned here that cheques of Rs 5 lac and Rs 1 lac, respectively handed over to the relatives of dead and injured.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Livestock Muhammad Ali Malkani apologized delay in compensation cheques and said that they were with victims of blast and sympathize with the families who lost their beloved in incident. He pointed out that delay was caused due to official procedures. He said that these cheques were to provide some relief to them. Malkani said that PPP was always with people of Lyari and will never forget and left them alone in any difficult time.

The Provincial Minister said that those who attempted the inhuman act in 2014 jhat pat market blast were unquestionably against the human and humanity but we are confident that such elements would be eliminated from their roots with the help of our law enforcing agencies and peace will be restored. He maintained that law and order situation in improving with the positive steps taken by the present PPP Government and Karachi will soon became again the city of lights.

MPA’s Sania Naaz, Javed Nagori and Malik Fayyaz also spoke on the occasion and sympathized with the relatives of victims and injured person.

They eulogized efforts taken by the former chief minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, MNA Faryal Talpur for initiating public oriented development projects for the benefit of common men.
