Law and order situation in Sindh redressed: Chief Secretary Sindh

Karachi, April 20, 2015 (PPI-OT): Chief Secretary Sindh Muhammad Siddique Memon has said that law order situation in Sindh has sufficiently been redressed and during the recent few months major crimes of target killings, extortion, kidnapping for ransom and dacoitees declined. He expressed these views while addressing a meeting with the under training officers of Senior Management Course of the National Institute of Management Lahore who visited Sindh Secretariat on Monday in respect of their study tour to Sindh.

The Secretaries Home, Local Government, Planning and Development, Energy Departments and Sindh Police Additional I.G. Police (Crimes Branch) briefed the participants about law and order and development projects. The participants asked various questions over the Sindh issues.

The participants were also briefed about Development Projects of Karachi including Water Supply and Sewerage, KCR, LERP, Low-cost Housing schemes of LDA and MDA. Chief Instructor NIM Lahore Mrs. Seema Najeeb Siddiqui thanked the Sindh government for facilitating the Study Tour Participants.
