Korean Ambassador visits Chamber of Commerce and Industry Quetta

QUETTA: Korean Ambassador to Pakistan Chong Ji Choi has said that Korean Companies are deeply interested in increasing commercial and industrial relations with business community of Balochistan. This province is rich in natural resources and minerals and there are vast opportunities for development.

He was speaking to businessmen and industrialists during his visit to Chamber of Commerce and Industry here Tuesday.

Chamber President Haji Juma Khan, Chairman Progressive Group Wali Muhammad Noorzai, Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech, Haji Fazal Qadir Sherani and others also spoke on the occasion.

Korean envoy said relations between business community of Balochistan and Korea would increase further in days ahead. He said Korean companies are interested in different sectors. He said on the indication of Balochistan Business community products can get attention in Korea and we would extend full cooperation.

Earlier Chamber President Haji Juma Khan in his address said that Balochistan with its long coast line and massive area has great significance in the region. This province is gateway to Iran, Afghanistan and Central Asian States. Great potential exist for investment in minerals, livestock, fishery and fruits and we need Korean cooperation in this regard. He said Business community expressed hope now Korean business community would visit Balochistan. Her said lot of Korean products reaches our markets such as clothes, blankets, shoes and decoration goods. He said there is need we should extend cooperation in important sectors.
