Kishtwar observes shutdown against Kashmir killings

Srinagar, July 15, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown was observed, today, against the killing spree in the Kashmir Valley. The shutdown call was given by Markazi Shoura Committee led by Imam of Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, Farooq Ahmed Kitchloo.

All business establishments, schools and colleges remained closed while traffic was off the roads. The authorities had deployed a large number of Indian paramilitary and police personnel to thwart anti-India protests. Meanwhile, the residents of Poonch and Mandi areas staged peaceful protest against the killing spree in Kashmir. People also observed shutdown in the areas.
