KCEU condemns brutal killing of students in IOK

Brussels, February 16, 2016 (PPI-OT): The Chairman of Kashmir Council European Union (KCEU), Ali Raza Syed, has strongly condemned the brutal killing of two students, Shaista Hamid and Danish Rasheed, by Indian forces during a peaceful protest in occupied Kashmir. Ali Raza Syed in a statement from Brussels while calling for an independent inquiry into the incident, termed it as an inhuman act.

The students were killed in firing by Indian Army and police at Kakapora in Pulwama district on Sunday. On the tragic incident, Ali Raza Syed expressed heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families and the people of occupied Kashmir. He appealed to the international community to take notice of the prevailing human rights situation in the occupied territory.
