Karachi Chamber of Commerce delegation invites Indian Gujarat Chief Minister visit Pakistan

Ahmedabad: Visiting Pakistan’s Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry KCCI delegation members invited Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to visit Pakistan, and called for exploring greater cooperation in trade & business between Gujarat and Pakistan, Indian news agency DNA reported.

KCCI delegation taking in a trade exhibition at Ahmedabad, met Chief Minister at his official residence in Gandhinagar. Officials present in meeting said Pakistani businessmen were particularly impressed by Gujarat model of development, transparent policies, and CM’s dynamism.

Describing Modi as a visionary, KCCI delegation invited him to visit Pakistan and requested him to address heads of Pakistani industries, businesses on Gujarat model of development through videoconferencing. Pakistani businessmen also discussed with him various ways to develop trade relations between Gujarat and Pakistan, suggested launch of a direct flight between Ahmedabad & Karachi, according to DNA. The delegation had also met Modi after inauguration of Asia Inter-Dye Exhibition on Wednesday.
