Indian troops martyr two youth in IOK

Srinagar, December 14, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred two youth in Islamabad and Baramulla district, today. A student of B.Tech in the Islamic University, Basit Rasool Dar was killed by Indian troops during a siege and search operation at Bewora in Bijbehara area of Islamabad district.

Over fifty thousand people raising pro-freedom slogans participated in the funeral of the martyred youth at Marhama area of the district. The Indian army claimed that Basit Rasool Dar was killed during an encounter. Hurriyet leader Mukhtar Ahmad Waza also participated in the funeral. The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani while telephonically addressing the participants reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue the martyrs’ mission.

The killing of Basit Rasool Dar led to massive anti-India protests in Bijbehara, Kanelwan, Bewoora and Srigufwara areas of the district.

On the other hand, body of a youth was recovered from debris of a residential house blasted by Indian troops at Bomai in Sopore area of the Baramulla district. Indian forces used IED explosives to blast the house.

People staged anti-India and pro-freedom protests in different areas of the town and demanding the body of the martyred youth.

Meanwhile, authorities have snapped telephone link to the region and right now only BSNL is operating. They said the telecommunication was snapped to prevent civilians from getting information about the operation conducted by Indian army and paramilitary forces till it is over.
