Indian police arrest over two dozen youth from Pulwama

Srinagar, December 03, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Indian police have arrested more than twenty youth during nocturnal raids in Tahab area of Pulwama.

The police took into custody 25 youth from Tahab during nocturnal raids on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday. The police also arrested five youth from downtown Srinagar on Friday.

Meanwhile, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir National Front, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, in a statement in Srinagar strongly denounced the arrest spree unleashed by Indian police and troops across the territory. He said that such tactics could not suppress the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue their ongoing freedom movement.
