Indian efforts to malign freedom movement denounced

Srinagar, November 23, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leaders Shabbir Ahmad Dar and Muhammad Musaddiq Aadil have denounced Indian efforts aimed at linking Kashmiris’ freedom struggle with global terrorism. The leaders in their separate statements in Srinagar said that India was a big terrorist country, where growing intolerance was a daunting challenge to the minorities.

Hurriyet leader, Shabbir Ahmad Dar termed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address in Turkey as turning a blind eye to what was happening with minorities including Muslims, Christians and Sikhs in India. Muhammad Musaddiq Aadil said that Narendra Modi was using world forums to malign the Kashmir freedom movement. He said that India had used the same tactic in the past and was doing it again. The world urged the international community to take notice of worst violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir.
