Indian agencies plotting to sabotage movement

Srinagar, July 28, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani has said that dozens of Indian secret agencies are employing different tactics to sabotage the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom movement.

Syed Ali Gilani while addressing people outside his residence in Srinagar reiterated the Kashmiris’ pledge to defeat the Indian nefarious designs by carrying on the Kashmiri martyrs’ mission. He pointed out that India was using the policy of ‘accuse and kill’ because New Delhi had realized that Jammu and Kashmir was slipping from its hands.

The APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik in a joint statement issued in Srinagar called for social boycott of India’s local collaborators in Kashmir. The leaders also reiterated the joint call for complete shutdown and a march towards Jamia Masjid, Srinagar, tomorrow, against the ongoing killing spree in the territory.

Meanwhile, protest demonstrations followed by massive clashes erupted between protesters and personnel of Indian armed forces in Srinagar and other parts of the Valley, today. The men in uniform used brute force and fired teargas shells on the protesters who were raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans. Pakistani flag was also hoisted at many places in the territory.

A big motor bike rally was taken in Shopian. The participants raised Pakistani flags and pro-Pakistan slogans. Indian policemen fired tear gas shells and pellets on protesters. The clashes continued till last reports came in.

Kashmir University Teachers’ Association during a meeting in Srinagar strongly condemned the atrocious use of force on the protestors by the Indian army and police. The teachers demanded an immediate end to use of pellet guns on innocent people.
