‘India cannot prolong its occupation over Kashmir’

Srinagar, December 28, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyet leader, Shabbir Ahmad Dar has said that India cannot prolong its occupation over Kashmir and the day is not away when the people of Kashmir will get rid of Indian bondages. Shabbir Ahmad Dar in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the unprecedented sacrifices of Kashmir people given for securing right to self-determination would not go waste. He said that the people of Kashmir would continue their just struggle till complete success.

Shabbir Dar said that Kashmir dispute should be resolved in accordance with the aspirations of Kashmiri people, adding that without involving the genuine leadership of Kashmiris, permanent settlement of Kashmir dispute was impossible.

He also condemned the continued illegal detention of JKLF Chairman, Mohammad Yasin Malik and other party leaders and demanded their immediate release. Meanwhile, the President of Jamiat Ahle Hadees Jammu and Kashmir, Professor Ghulam Ahmad Butt Al-Madni in a statement issued in Srinagar stressed the inclusion of Kashmiris in the proposed dialogue process between Pakistan and India over Kashmir.

He said that the amicable settlement of the dispute would permanent peace in the South Asian region. He said that Pakistan and India had fought several wars over Kashmir dispute and its solution would bring cordial relations between the two nuclear countries besides peace and progress in the region.
