Government to promote entrepreneurship culture in country: Leila Khan

Islamabad, April 23, 2015 (PPI-OT): While addressing as a chief guest at the launching ceremony of Prime Minister Youth Business Loan Scheme in Islamic financing mode by Al Baraka Bank, Chairperson Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Ms Leila Khan congratulated Al Baraka Bank, on behalf of honourable Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, on being the pioneer bank to successfully launch this scheme in Islamic financing mode in Pakistan, under the aegis of Prime Minister Youth Programme.

Ms Leila Khan said, “PML-N Government is working dedicatedly on the socio-economic uplift of the country by promoting entrepreneurship culture through a vibrant SME sector in the country”. She explained, “Prime Minister Youth Business Loan Scheme is focused on promoting SME sector in the country, which would usher in socio-economic development of Pakistan”. She added, “SME sector development offers most viable option for private sector-led growth that reduces poverty and creates a large number of jobs all across Pakistan”.

Ms Leila Khan added, “Through this scheme, we are encouraging informal business sector to shift to the formal sector. The beneficiaries of this scheme will become tax payers, their businesses will create jobs, and they will be able to improve their living standards”.
