German Counsel General invites Karachi Electric Supply Company’s management to attend two-day business conference titled Pakistan Days to be held in Berlin and Munich on Oct 30 and 31

Karachi, September 19, 2013 (PPI-OT): Dr. Tilo Klinner, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Karachi, held a meeting with the CEO of the Karachi Electric Supply Company Mr. Nayyer Hussain and other members of the leadership team during his visit to the head office of KESC on Wednesday.

Dr Klinner expressed great interest in the functioning of KESC and appreciated the company’s progress over the last few years. He also extended an invitation to the management team of KESC to attend a two-day business conference titled “Pakistan Days” to be held in Berlin and Munich on Oct. 30 and 31 this year.

Basically an initiative of Pakistan German Business Forum in cooperation with the Embassy and Counsel General of Germany, this Pakistan specific conference would cover topics like “Investment Climate in Pakistan,” “Energizing Pakistan,” “Financial Solutions,” etc. and would extensively provide opportunities for business to business meetings and networking.

Nayyer Hussain, CEO, Arshad Zahidi, Chief Generation and Transmission Officer and Ghufran Atta Khan, Chief Engagement Officer of KESC briefed the guests over the company’s success story and the targets and challenges faced towards sustainable development.
