Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry felicitates Pakistan Muslim League-N on winning elections

Karachi, May 13, 2013 (PPI-OT): The apex body of the trade and industry – Pakistan Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has felicitated Nawaz Sharif and the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) on their winning the elections 2013 and hoped the incoming government will start efforts for revival of economy soon after it installed.

The President FPCCI Zubair Ahmed Malik, Former President FPCCI and Vice President Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) Tariq Sayeed, President India-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry S M Muneer, and all vice presidents have reposed their confidence in the leadership and expertise of Nawaz Sharif’s team of economic experts to face the challenges and take Pakistan on the road to economic prosperity with the mandate given to them and consider this as the best opportunity to prove their love and the potentiality of the people of Pakistan.

“The incoming government will be having good economic experts and finance managers and is hopeful that the government with full mandate will be able to overcome the burning issues of electricity and gas crisis, dwindling foreign exchange, high cost of doing business, healthcare facilities and education in all the provinces of Pakistan”, Zubair Malik said.

He hoped that the PMN-N government would give top priority to the economy and come out with a firm and effective economic policy to put the country back on track. The business leaders said that Nawaz Sharif was always receptive to the issues of the business community and especially the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and implemented projects in Punjab for their betterment.

They said that after having full mandate from the masses he will overcome the energy crisis by taking bold decisions and for larger interest of Pakistan’s economic sovereignty. He emphasized their outstanding performance for the SME farmers in Punjab and contribution towards improvement of agricultural produce value addition in the province. The nation now looks towards them for their wholehearted focus on national issues.
