Islamabad: Federal Budget for next fiscal year 2011-12, envisaging growth rate acceleration, economic stabilization, jobs generation, broaden tax base and relief to masses people will be presented Friday in National Assembly by Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh after its approval by Federal Cabinet.
Consolidated outlay of Federal Budget is likely to be around Rs 3.8 trillion and revenue target estimated at about Rs 1.9 trillion.
In view of national and international challenges, GDP growth target will be 4.2% for next fiscal. In current fiscal 2.4% GDP growth might be achieved against 4.5% target, official sources said Wednesday.
The new Budget will focus on infrastructure, human capital, promote investments, exports and agriculture development. The government is keen to provide relief to the people.
