Delegation of Turkish investors meets Shahbaz Sharif

Lahore, February 26, 2016 (PPI-OT): A delegation of Turkish investors met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and expressed interest in investment in manufacturing, paper industry and other sectors. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister Punjab said that the historical, brotherly and friendly relations between Pakistan and Turkey have turned into economic ties.

He said that Pakistan attaches high importance to its relations with Turkey. He said that investment by Turk investors group in Punjab will be welcomed and all out facilities will be provided for this purpose. He said that a number of Turk companies have made an investment of billions of rupees in solid waste management, transport and other sectors in Punjab which is increasing with the passage of time. Khawaja Ahmad Hasaan, Secretary Industry, Chief Executive Officer Punjab Investment Board and concerned officers were present on the occasion.
