Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin inaugurate India Show February 11 at Lahore Expo Centre

Lahore: Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim will inaugurate three-day India Show on February 11 at Lahore Expo Centre organized by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry FICCI in collaboration with Indian Commerce & Industries Ministry with support by Pakistan’s Commerce Ministry & Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry to raise awareness of Indian products.

A high-powered Indian CEOs delegation led by FICCI President R.V. Kanoria will accompany Commerce, Industry & Textile Minister Anand Sharma, who will be chief guest at closing ceremony of India Show. LCCI President Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said it will help jack-up trade volume between Pakistan and India. Currently major portion of trade is being done through third country.

Over 50 Indian companies will exhibit manufacturing, services, chemicals, engineering, textiles, apparels, consumer durables, gems & jewellery, cosmetics, handicrafts, auto components, healthcare. One time permission was granted by Pakistan government to exhibit Indian goods, services beyond positive list and counter sale of products. Indian CEOs will have business meetings at Lahore, Karachi & Islamabad.
