Chief Secretary Sindh attends the closing ceremony of Rover Scouting “3rd Sindh Rover Moot -2018” as Chief Guest held at Gulshan-e-Scouts in Karachi on 26th December 2018

Karachi, December 27, 2018 (PPI-OT): Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah as Chief Guest attended the closing ceremony of Rover Scouting “3rd Sindh Rover Moot -2018” held at Gulshan-e-Scouts in Karachi on 26th December 2018.
Addressing the ceremony, the Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Mumtaz Ali Shah said that he was very happy to participate in 100-year-old event of Scouts. “Today I became member of global movement of Scouts after reading its oath” added the Chief Secretary.

The Chief Secretary stated that during the training of scouts love for country be highlighted along with personal development skills of the scouts. He further stated that the scouting movement can play an important role towards the character- building of our youngsters. He appreciated the services rendered by the of Sindh scouts for organizing successful training of scouts. “The Sindh Government will provide all possible assistance to promote such activities in the province” added the Chief Secretary.

Speaking on the occasion president Sindh Scouts Akhtar Mir said that the scouts of Sindh, Baluchistan, KPK, Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and Pakistan Railways have participated in the six days training. He further added that the trained scouts will easily pass the recruitment trainings of Pakistan Army, police and entry tests of medical and Engineering Universities of the country. Moot Chief Justice ® Hassan Feroz and others have also spoke about the scout’s activities. At the end, Chief Secretary Sindh distributed the shields amongst and congratulated the participants of six days scouts training.
