Babri Masjid not re-built despite passage of 22 years: MAC

Jammu, December 07, 2015 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, an extra-ordinary meeting of Muslim Action Committee was held in Jammu in connection with the 22nd martyrdom anniversary of Babari Masjid. President of Muslim Action Committee, Jammu, Mohammad Sharif Sartaj chaired the meeting The participants of the meeting deplored that Hindu fanatics had demolished the Babri Masjid 22 years ago and till date it was not reconstructed. They said that India claimed to be the biggest democracy of the world, but no democratic rights were given to the minorities in the country.

The participants of the meeting reiterated the pledge to observe December 6 as Black Day till the reconstruction of the historic mosque. Besides, Mohammad Sharif Sartaj, the Muslim Action Committee office holders including Muhammad Ramzan Malik, Chaudhry Farid Kohlee, Syed Fida Hussain and Muhammad Ayub Paal also addressed the meeting and demanded of India to immediately start re-construction of Babri Mosque.

Meanwhile, Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson, Aasiya Andrabi addressing a meeting of the members of her party in Srinagar said that the demolition of the historic Babri Masjid was such a blot for so-called Indian democracy that could never be erased. She said that the incident of demolition of the mosque was an unforgettable pain in the hearts and minds of the Muslims.

The meeting also discussed the issues related to the organizational matters and the present situation of the territory. The meeting expressed concern and said that the situation in the territory, especially in the valley was worrisome as the Hindutu forces were trying to implement their ill intentioned and dirty designs.
