APHC condemns leaders’ continued detention in IOK

Srinagar, July 15, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has strongly condemned the continued detention and house detention of its Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Mohammad Yasin Malik, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai, Shabbir Ahmad Shah and Altaf Ahmad Shah and termed it the worst kind of state terrorism.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the leaders were even not allowed to offer Juma prayers which was interference in their religious matters and would not be tolerated. He said that India had created war-like situation in the territory and the Valley had been cut off from the rest of the world. The spokesman also condemned the Indian media, adding that it was playing a very negative role regarding the Kashmir situation and had kept the world ignorant about the real situation of the territory. He appealed to the Justice-loving nations of the world to come forward and raise voice for helpless and hapless people of Kashmir.
