70-memeber Pakistani businessmen delegation left to attend SBLC
ISLAMABAD: A 70-members businessmen delegation from Pakistan left on Tuesday to attend 4th SAARC Business Leaders Conclave (SBLC) in Nepal on September 20-22, 2011.
The 4th SBLC with theme Peace and Prosperity through Regional Connectivity is organized by SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry in collaboration with Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in partnership with Friedrich Naumann Stiftung and The World Bank as Knowledge Partner.
The 4th SBLC will be inaugurated by Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, President of Nepal. Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka, former Prime Minister of Sri Lanka will participate as Guest of Honour. The Inaugural session will be followed by Ministerial session, session on Water, Energy & Climate Change and Food Security, Business Leaders Session, Women Leadership for Regional Business Opportunities, Trade and Investments in South Asia, Youth Development and Leadership, Connectivity through Tourism, Cultural Exchange and Media and Valedictory session & Adoption of Kathmandu Declaration.
A delegation comprised 80 leading businessmen from Pakistan, over 100 businessmen from Bangladesh and from SAARC member countries will attend the 4th SBLC. The prominent speakers who will address the sessions from all the countries participated there.
