Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry chief demands recovery of looted goods

Karachi: Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s President Mian Abrar Ahmad has demanded to recover the looted goods belonging to the business of Senior Vice President KCCI Younus Muhammad Bashir in an incident of hijacking of cargo van in the area of Jinnah International Airport Karachi.

He stated that it is a matter of deep concern that on the National Highway in the daylight criminals hijacked cargo van loaded with goods worth millions of rupees without any fear of law enforcing agencies deployed in the jurisdiction of Airport police station.

He said that the cargo vehicles has been found abandoned whereas since the day of incidence on 13th April, the looted goods are not recovered yet. He demanded IG Police to direct the concerned to immediately recover the looted goods and punish the culprits.

He also urged to take concrete measures and visible results to control the prevailing everywhere in Karachi and curb the criminal elements who are not only threat for innocent citizens of the city but also intimidation for national security and perception of the country as well.
